Blues and Greens

Swedish stylist Robert Rydberg really knows how to mix prints and colours. I saw a show styled by him at Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm, and I was blown away by his talent for juxtaposing materials, prints and colours in the most natural and inventive way. It made me want to swap my clean black wardrobe for a rich colour palette and beautiful prints. I had a chance to say hello to him after the show, and luckily he was wearing all black as well, so that made me feel a little less boring.
Robert Rydbergs portfolio is enormous. Besides high end editorials he has styled campaigns for H&M and Filippa K and been published in Vogue China, Man About Town, Bon Magazine, Cover and many more. He is also Editor in Chief of Contributor Magazine. His work can be found here: Linkdetails/Robert-Rydberg.
Steven Klein

A few selected photos from Steven Klein. What an amazing photographer.
Matching Metallics

Okay, so enough about my silver coat (hence the blog title) for a while. However, I felt I had to show it one last time with matching shoes.

Food

My first post about food (there won’t be many). 1// white fish with fried tomatoes and herbs. My boyfriend made this, so unfortunately I can’t take credit for the presentation. 2// dark chocolate cake with berries and cream from Fotografiska Museum in Stockholm. 3// the first birthday cake I ever made. Simple I know, but I’m still feeling somewhat proud.
Timeless

Two of my favourite blogs Dead Fleurette and Vanilla Scented.

Savage Beauty

I have written about the Alexander McQueen exhibition in New York before, and since I haven’t been able to see it yet, I went for the next best thing, the book.
These pictures are from the Modern Museum in Stockholm. I highly recommend seeing their permanent collection and finishing the day in their garden with a home made waffle and apple juice. Mmm.
Balenciaga
Stunning and unexpected as always.

Absolutely beautiful collection from Dries Van Noten. It was hard to choose, but these were my favourite looks. I love the clean silhouettes and the mix of old botanical prints. I would love to look like this next spring.
